Looking for a talented, creative, energetic bartender with serving experience. This person should really like food and wine personally, as they will be working with seasonal fresh ingredients and make fresh syrups and fresh garmishes to create unique drinks for a discerning clientele. Bar person will be working 3 shifts a week: Friday and Saturday, 3-11; Sundays;10-3ish. This position may require additional hours during high season, like such as Father's Day, July 4th, Labor Day Monday, or private events.
Bar features local liquors and distilleries of of the Hudson Valley, and need a great spokesperson at the bar to pour and encourage their appreciation and consumption. Must have deep list of cocktails they are adept at pouring, There will also be a modest NY-focused wine and beer program, and must be familiar (or familiarize) themselves with the language of wine, so they can help guests choose when needed. We are looking for a person with a real 'can-do' team player attitude, someone willing to wear both a bartender and server hat, and chip in when you see support is needed for your team (running drinks for example for servers).
